[dropcap size=small]R[/dropcap]etine, tulle e pizzi chantilly per cappellini, cerchietti e … il ritorno della veletta. Un accessorio sofisticato e seducente che, grazie al suo effetto vedo-non-vedo, regala sensualità e mistero allo sguardo.
La moda del cappello con veletta fu lanciata alla fine del 1800 da Charles Frederick Worth, uno stilista dell’alta società e padre del haute couture. Durante la Belle Epoque la veletta è una tendenza molto diffusa, per poi scomparire nel primo dopoguerra e tornare negli anni ’50. Romantica e retro’ oppure sexy e chic, questo accessorio sta tornando di moda anche grazie a fashionisti e star del cinema.
Molte sono le occasioni durante le quali è stata sfoggiata da vip nelle occasioni mondane. L’accessorio può essere realizzato in due varianti, dove la prima si propone leggera e fine a se stessa, mentre la seconda si associa ad una struttura a capellino, quindi più importante e forse complessa da indossare. Oggi le velette non le troviamo solamente in nero, ma vengono proposte anche in versioni colorate. Abbiamo avuto anche il piacere di ammirare la principessa Kate sfoggiare delle velette molto speciali, dai colori rosa confetto oppure abbinate a dei capellini con tocchi fucsia. Del resto la tradizione britannica per i cappellini annovera un uso massivo della veletta, impiegata in molte occasioni perché considerata di un’eleganza assoluta.
La veletta del nostro presente può quindi essere sfoggiata nelle occasioni più importanti, se scelta in versione semplice, oppure arricchita con una broche o da un fermaglio in pietre dure. Ma qualsiasi modello richiede infinita sobrietà nell’insieme dell’abbigliamento. Il look deve essere curato e molto femminile. La veletta è già vistosa di suo, per cui non bisogna eccedere con gli altri accessori.
Per questo outfit io ho indossato il mio cappello con veletta firmato Filippo Catarzi, abbinato a una pelliccia ecologica Michael Kors, minigonna e stivaloni alti. Trovo che la veletta sia elegante, misteriosa e raffinata.

Moreover, the British tradition for caps includes a massive use of the veil, which is used on many occasions because it was considered of absolute elegance.
The veil of our present can then be raised in the most important, if chosen in a simple version, or enriched with a broche or a clasp in precious stones. But any model requires infinite sobriety whole garment. The look has to be taken care of and very feminine. The number plate is already striking her, so one must not exceed with the other accessories.
For this outfit I wore my hat with veil by Filippo Catarzi, combined with a faux fur by Michael Kors, miniskirt and high boots. I find that the veil is elegant, mysterious and refined.
